Towers Signs has played an active role in the community since the beginning. Charlie has been a Member of the Seaford Jaycees and has served as the president of the organization for ten years. He was a major contributor of time and service when it came to the running of the pool and other functions. He was awarded Jaycee of the year and holds the highest honor awarded a Jaycee a lifetime Governorship (009).

Charlie and his family moved to Seaford back in 1968 where he became very active in sports. This is where he found his love for competition and Basketball. Although he lettered in Football, Basketball and Track, He found a passion for the game of Basketball and became a coach after he graduated college. He has coached for Seaford little league and high school basketball along with scouting for more than twenty years and to this day enjoys mentoring and encouraging the youth as a positive role model all while teaching them the rules of the game of sports.

Charlie also became a member and now Past president of the Nanticoke Rotary Club of Seaford. He has received such honors and awards as the John Burton Unsung Hero award and the Rotarian of the Year award for outstanding service to the organization. He is the Chairman of the Annual Magic Show and Christmas Shopping tour for Children which he carried on from the Jaycees.  He is also on the board of the Can-Do Playground Project for children with sensory, developmental or physical disability in Milford, De.

Charlie has encouraged his employees and others to get involved and be a positive role model in our community. With that influence Office Manager Deena Yale became involved with the organization of the Christmas Shopping tour and other projects for the Nanticoke Rotary for which they have honored her with an Honorary Membership. She is also a Member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Sussex Chapter #7 as an officer and Past Bethel Guardian of Job’s Daughters of De, Bethel #5 and the Jurisdictional Bethel. She, along with her family volunteer by running the concession stand for the Seaford Dept of Parks and Recreation youth football.

We are continually dedicated to the service above self for our community and those in need
